Artificial Intelligence Lab Intern

Opdracht

As an Artificial Intelligence Lab intern, you will be working in a team of highly skilled data scientists and AI consultants in the AI Lab, the main goal of which is to deliver value with data science and AI to the whole DLL and to support DLL in the digital transformation journey. You will support development of machine-learning models for various business segments of DLL. In your work you will use CRISP-DM methodology, with the focus on data understanding part, assisting data scientists in various AI Lab experiments and project.

Day to Day:
• Perform data queries to collect data for various data science tasks;
• Work together with AI consultants in preparing, processing, and transforming data for model development;
• Participate in team brainstorming and contribute to the team activities, for example, working on updating the yearly communication plan for the AI Lab or maintaining the planning dashboard and assisting in retrospectives;
• Work on modelling tasks and experimenting with the data to explore ideas, submitted by the business to the AI Lab;
• Work with the Business Translator Community to assist them in the process of collecting and submitting the ideas into the AI Lab.

Jouw vaardigheden en wat we jou leren

Essentials:
• Good understanding of the CRISP-DM model development methodology;
• Good knowledge of SQL and Python;
• Sufficient knowledge of machine learning techniques;
• Experience with working in a Cloud environment and with an Analytics platform, for example, Databricks;
• Good communication skills;
• Creativity, flexibility, and the growth mindset;
• Good organizational skills.

Extras:
• Next to Python, other programming languages are a pre;
• Excellent technical writing skills;
• Ability to work proactively and be effective in highly creative and uncertain environments.
